Omoniyi is a Finance and Accounting professional and a Banker of repute with over 20 years of working experience out of which 15 years has been in the banking industry. He started his banking career in 2001 as an Executive Trainee with Continental Trust Bank (now United Bank For Africa (UBA) Plc where he worked in different areas of Branch and Head Office Operations till 2009.
He had a break from the industry in 2009 and later joined the service of ECOBANK Nigeria Ltd in 2011 as a Zonal Head of Cash Management Operations in the FCT/North Directorate of the Bank. A member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB), Omoniyi holds a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, and a MBA in Financial Management from the Lagos State University.
He is until his appointment as the CEO of NOMASE Microfinance Bank the MD/CEO of ADOM Global Investments Ltd, the position he held since August 2016. He has in the course of his career attended courses in Comprehensive Banking Operations, Credit Analysis, Financial Crimes and Money Laundering, Relationship Management, and Security Consciousness and Awareness.
